Spring Edit
Finally, Spring has arrived! The longer days, blue skies, and abundance of fresh blooms are lifting our spirits and filling us with a renewed sense of energy. As we embrace the season of growth and renewal, it’s only natural to turn our attention to our homes, refreshing our interiors to reflect the brighter days ahead.
Spring is the perfect time to breathe new life into our spaces, whether that’s a simple seasonal refresh or a more considered update. It’s an opportunity to introduce lighter fabrics, uplifting colours, and playful patterns that mirror the optimism of the season. A well-curated mix of textures and tones creates depth and interest, making a home feel layered, welcoming, and full of personality.
We’ve scoured our favourite retailers' new collections, seeking out the most exciting pieces that embody the vibrancy of Spring. As always, we’re drawn to colour, pattern, and texture—the key elements that bring an interior to life. Whether it’s a beautifully printed cushion, a statement lamp, or a fresh take on classic upholstery, these details help transform a space and make it feel truly personal.
Layering is at the heart of how we design—combining patterns, mixing materials, and introducing unexpected colour pairings to craft interiors that feel effortlessly stylish yet deeply comforting. A home should be a sanctuary, a place where you feel inspired and at ease, and a seasonal refresh is a simple yet impactful way to achieve that.
So, if you’re feeling the pull of Spring’s renewal, now is the time to embrace change, experiment with colour, and create a home that feels as uplifting as the season itself.
These are the 9 new shades from Farrow & Ball. All very useable, attractive colours which will help to bring your home to life. The shades we are most attracted to are, Duster, Etruscan red, and Marmelo.
Duster is an aged yellow tone which we would call ‘Dirty mustard’! Sometimes yellow tones can feel to vibrant and overwhelming but this shade bridges the gap and is a sophisticated yellow which we think would work perfectly on Utility room cabinetry.
Etruscan red is a earthy red with brown under tones. It is quite a subtle shade which adds character but doesn’t overwhelm. So many colours will work with this shade including, blues, plaster pinks and greens. A snug would feel so cosy covered in this colour.
Marmelo is a grounded orange hue, incorporating lovely soft brown and tan tones. An entrance hall would look striking painted in this shade with some panelling below and wallpaper above.
We believe every room should include some vintage or antique pieces of furniture. They add character and depth to a space and tell a story from the past. These pieces are always made with skilled craftsmanship, handmade using solid wood compared to many modern pieces which are mass produced and only use veneer wood. Fern & Green are one of our favourite Antique shops who have a regular drop of gorgeous pieces on Instagram. The piece pictured is a stunning French antique faux bamboo pot cupboard with a marble top. It would make a perfect bedside table or bathroom cabinet.
This delightful Peony wallpaper by Pomilyprints really caught our eye. It comes in 5 cheerful colourways and we are having a hard time trying to choose our favourite! This could make the most beautiful bedroom wallpaper as it is delicate enough not to be over powering, but a good scale, so not too ditsy to be lost amongst an interior scheme. We really do love them all but Blue & Pink might just win it for us!
We have long admired Daisy Sims Hilditch paintings, she has such an incredible talent of capturing colour and light and bringing her subject to life in the most inspiring way. This is one of her latest paintings of Via Del Campuccio in Florence, Italy. Her work will bring so much joy hung in your home and be an investment for the future.
Rose, Spot and Scallop in Linchen green is the newest design by the talented Isla Simpson.
This is the perfect sheer lightweight linen voile fabric to make a cafe curtain for your kitchen or dining room space. The edge to the fabric features a scalloped design which elevates the fabric even more.
